As lockdown measures start to ease we’re working with the other uniformed youth organisations and the National Youth Agency government body to understand what a safe return to face-to-face GB community groups may look like.

A GB community group leader has been upcycling old uniform to make face masks for use during the COVID-19 pandemic.

It is with sadness that we share that Mrs Olive Miller, International Vice Patron, passed away on 19 May in the Cayman Islands at the age of 98.

GB member Jessica Smith has been making key rings to fundraise for the NHS – raising £800 so far and hoping to soon hit her target of £1,000.

GB community group leaders are creatively supporting and engaging with the children and young people in their groups.

More than 40 food parcels have been delivered in less than 2 weeks to people stuck at home during the Coronavirus pandemic, thanks to members and leaders of 1st Haydock GB community group.

It seems so much has changed in such a short space of time and we're living with uncertainty as we try and adapt to new ways of living and working due to the coronavirus pandemic. So it's been great to already see how GB leaders are creatively stepping up to this challenge to support and engage with the children and young people in their groups and their families
