A welcome to GB Scotland members from Girls' Brigade England & Wales Youth President Eloise Dale.

Long-serving volunteer Maureen Cawte, 79, met His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh alongside her daughter and granddaughter, at a very special celebration recognising Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award holders and the volunteers who support them.

Volunteers' Week 2026 takes place from 1 to 7 June. At Girls' Brigade, we are proud to have a volunteer base of almost 2500 people across the UK! Without these individuals, the work we do to provide safe spaces for girls and young women to have fun, make friends, and build upon their faith, would not be possible.

Two Girls’ Brigade leaders, Anne Sheehan and Abbie Wheeler from 1st Peters Hill and 53rd Birmingham Girls' Brigade, have taken on an incredible challenge this April.

On 22 April, Girls' Brigade groups from the Merseyside District attended an event at Liverpool Town Hall, where they were awarded the Freedom of the City of Liverpool. 

Working closely with the Connexional Military Forces Board, Girls’ Brigade has undertaken the military project with the aim of supporting military families through Christian youth work, built on a solid understanding of the challenges faced by families in this position.

CreateFest invites Girls’ Brigade members aged four plus (including GB volunteers) to showcase their talents - whether you’re entering on your own or as part of a group. With a range of exciting categories to choose from, there’s something for every kind of creator.

Girls’ Brigade has been working alongside Youth United Foundation to support uniformed youth groups.
