Two Girls’ Brigade leaders, Anne Sheehan and Abbie Wheeler from 1st Peters Hill and 53rd Birmingham Girls' Brigade, have taken on an incredible challenge this April.

On 22 April, Girls' Brigade groups from the Merseyside District attended an event at Liverpool Town Hall, where they were awarded the Freedom of the City of Liverpool. 

Working closely with the Connexional Military Forces Board, Girls’ Brigade has undertaken the military project with the aim of supporting military families through Christian youth work, built on a solid understanding of the challenges faced by families in this position.

CreateFest invites Girls’ Brigade members aged four plus (including GB volunteers) to showcase their talents - whether you’re entering on your own or as part of a group. With a range of exciting categories to choose from, there’s something for every kind of creator.

We are proud to unveil our latest new programme materials, made in partnership with Historic England. We hope that Girls' Brigade groups will find this resource to enrich the connection between young people and the heritage of where they come from.

In November, Girls' Brigade members from 37th Bristol had the honour of attending the Remembrance Day Parade in London. They were asked by their district to write a report of the exciting day.
