GB has just launched new hybrid resources for our community groups to use between September and October half-term – whether that’s face-to-face, at home with a parent/carer, or online e.g. on Zoom.

Once again it’s been fantastic to see so many young people connecting with their leaders and groups thriving online!

Girls and leaders at 1st Waterlooville marked the group’s 90th anniversary by joining together virtually to play an online escape room game.

We’re excited that we have a number of young women who are completing their Queen’s Award. However we realise that COVID-19 has made completing a number of the requirements more challenging. 

Baking 120 vegan Belgian buns helped one GB leader raise more than £200 for Girls’ Brigade.

There has already been a great response to our Popcorn’s Summer Stay-cation resource! Lots of GB community groups are encouraging their members to join in with the challenges and there are individuals outside of our groups who are getting into the ‘Stay-cation spirit’ too!

GB community group leaders have continued to support and engage with their members during the final term before the summer break. 

Girls’ Brigade (GB) has just launched a free new six-week resource for the summer holidays.

The results are out for Team Challenge 2019-20 – a national competition GB groups could be part of, at a convenient time for them, between November 2019 and March 2020. The packs were themed around parables and figures from the Bible and featured creative challenges, games, and Bible stories.
