For the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic began, a number of Girls’ Brigade members who have completed their gold Duke of Edinburgh award were invited to Buckingham Palace last month to receive their awards.

We're thrilled that we've had more GB groups across England & Wales send in reports of their Jubilee celebrations!

So many of our groups have been getting in touch to let us know how they’ve been joining in with Platinum Jubilee celebrations. 

On 25 May, a group of women from Girls' Brigade across England & Wales attended the Queen's Garden Party at Buckingham Palace as stewards.

Congratulations to the Team Leader of 1st Amesbury Girls’ Brigade who was awarded an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List 2022.

Two GB members yesterday attended a Big Afternoon Tea at 10 Downing Street in honour of Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee.

It’s been great to hear of Girls’ Brigade community events getting involved in Platinum Jubilee celebrations ahead of the main event this weekend.
