15 girls and 10 leaders from 8th Portsmouth attended an Alice in Wonderland themed activity afternoon and sleepover in November. The group had lots of fun and games including Mad Hatter hat decorating, pinning the grin on the Cheshire Cat and much, much more! The leaders all wore fabulous costumes and played the parts of the main characters such as the Queen of Hearts, the White Rabbit, Alice, the Dormouse, Mad Hatter, and even some Playing Cards.
At 1st Yeovil, even with only six girls attending, the group had a great time at their sleepover, even the GB leaders are excited for their next one! Following the sleepover, a few more girls joined them in church for the enrolment service. Team Leader Kate says, ‘I think GB members and their families doubled the numbers in church.’
