Win a free PGL weekend trip
How far could your group take the 100 for £100 challenge? Every participating group will be helping us work towards our collective £20,000 goal – but one group will also receive an unforgettable prize. The group that raises the most will receive a free weekend trip at a PGL UK centre for 12 young people and two Girls’ Brigade leaders.
What is included?
The prize will provide a weekend stay for:
- 12 young people
- Two Girls’ Brigade leaders
- A choice of any PGL UK centre, subject to availability
The weekend stay will be subject to availability and cannot take place during June or the first two weekends in July.
Full details of what is included, booking arrangements and any exclusions will be set out after the campaign has ended.
How will the winning group be decided?
The prize will be awarded to the participating Girls’ Brigade group with the highest verified fundraising total during the Big Give campaign.
The total will be based on eligible online donations:
- Made through the official Girls’ Brigade Big Give campaign page
- Received within the campaign period
- Correctly attributed to the participating group
Big Give match funding and Gift Aid will not be included when calculating group totals. Only donations that can be verified and attributed to a registered participating group will count towards the prize.
What will the winning group be asked to do?
In return for the donated residential, the winning group will be asked to support agreed testimonials or a case study and provide PGL with an opportunity to capture marketing photography and video.
Any photography or filming involving young people will be managed in line with Girls’ Brigade safeguarding procedures and will require the appropriate permissions and consent.
When can the weekend take place?
The winning group will arrange its weekend directly with PGL, with support from Girls’ Brigade England and Wales. The chosen centre and dates will be subject to availability. The residential cannot take place during:
- June
- The first weekend in July
- The second weekend in July
