How to take part in 100 for £100

Taking part is simple. Your group chooses how to fundraise, and we will provide the resources you need to get started.

1) Sign up your group

Complete our short registration form to become one of the 100 participating Girls’ Brigade groups.

Click here to complete the form.

2) Choose your fundraising activity

Your fundraising does not need to be complicated. Choose something enjoyable, achievable and suitable for your members and community.

  • Complete a sponsored walk or challenge.
  • Create a challenge involving the number 100.
  • Hold a themed group night.
  • Organise a cake sale or coffee morning.
  • Run a quiz, games evening or talent show.
  • Invite your church to support your challenge.
  • Ask ten supporters to donate £10 each.
  • Reconnect with former members and volunteers.
  • Approach local businesses for support.
  • Share the campaign with families and friends.

View our Fundraising Toolkit for even more ideas.

3. Get campaign-ready

Participating groups will receive a digital campaign pack containing:

  • Fundraising ideas for different age groups
  • Social media graphics and suggested captions
  • A printable poster
  • A campaign link and QR code
  • Suggested wording for parents, churches and supporters
  • Guidance on having donations attributed to your group
  • Important information about the Big Give process
  • Campaign updates and fundraising-table announcements

4. Fundraise during the campaign week

The Big Give Women & Girls Match Fund runs from Tuesday 6th to Tuesday 13 October 2026.

It is important that eligible donations are made through the official Girls’ Brigade Big Give campaign page during this week. Donations received outside the campaign period cannot unlock match funding.

Where possible, encourage supporters to donate directly through the campaign page using your group’s link or QR code.

Please read the campaign guidance before collecting cash or paying in any money raised.

 5. Aim for £100 – and keep going!

If 100 groups each raise £100, we can reach the £10,000 needed to unlock our full match-funding pot.

However, £100 is only the starting target. Every additional donation will support our work – and the group with the highest verified fundraising total will receive a free PGL weekend trip for 12 young people and two leaders. Read more about the PGL prize here.
