The 100 Group Challenge | Big Give Women & Girls Match Fund 2026

Raise £100, double your impact – and your group could win a free PGL weekend!

This October, Girls’ Brigade groups across England and Wales are coming together for one big challenge – and we would love your group to be part of it. Sign up here.

Girls’ Brigade England and Wales has been awarded £10,000 in Champion funding through the Big Give Women & Girls Match Fund 2026, kindly championed by the Admiral Group Plc.

To unlock the full amount, we need to raise £10,000 in online donations between Tuesday 6th October – Tuesday 13 October 2026. If 100 Girls’ Brigade groups each raise at least £100, together we can reach our target and turn £10,000 into an incredible £20,000. 100 groups. £100 each. Twice the impact, and there is an exciting reason to keep going beyond £100.

The group that raises the most will receive:

A free weekend residential at a PGL UK centre for 12 young people and two leaders.

The residential can take place at any PGL UK centre, subject to availability. It will be based on a weekend stay, excluding June and the first two weekends in July. Full terms and conditions will apply. Could your group top the fundraising table?

What is 100 for £100?

100 for £100 is a charity-wide fundraising challenge inviting 100 Girls’ Brigade groups to each raise at least £100. Your group could organise an activity, involve your church and local community or simply encourage ten people to donate £10 each.

The important thing is that eligible donations are made through our official Big Give campaign page between 6 and 13 October – link here: www.bit.ly/GBEW-BigGive2026. While match funding remains available, every £1 donated will be matched – meaning your group’s £100 could become £200.

How it works

1. Sign up your group

Complete the form here to become one of our 100 participating groups: www.girlsbrigadeministries.org.uk/the-100-group-challenge/sign-up-for-100-for-100

2. Plan your fundraising

Choose how your members, volunteers, families, church and wider community could work together to raise at least £100.

3. Receive your digital campaign pack

We will send you fundraising ideas, posters, graphics, suggested social media posts and clear instructions for directing donations through the official Big Give page.

4. Fundraise from 6 to 13 October

Invite your supporters to donate through our official Big Give campaign page during the campaign week. It is important that all eligible donations are made online between 6 and 13 October to qualify for match funding and count towards your group’s verified fundraising total.

5. Keep going!

Reaching £100 will help us achieve our collective target – but your group can raise as much as possible. We will share fundraising updates throughout the week as groups work towards the top of the table, and remember, the group that raises the most during the week, will win a free weekend residential, kindly donated by our friends at PGL.
