Girls’ Brigade Tackles Online Harm Against Girls

At Girls’ Brigade, we are passionate about ensuring girls and young women are best equipped to thrive in today’s world, and doing so safely. We are committed to providing resources and support so that girls can enjoy the digital world, whilst being protected against threats that they are especially vulnerable to, due to their gender. We have collaborated with Ineqe to create a report on a strategy for implementing online youth work into our practices.

Girls’ Brigade Launch Military Families Project

Girls’ Brigade England and Wales are excited to be working with the Methodist Church on expanding and introducing new groups, for girls aged 4-17, into areas with a high military family presence. This project seeks to build friendships, strengthen community, and explore the spiritual side of life for girls in military families. By offering tried and tested faith-based support to children in military families, Girls’ Brigade can help them to develop their confidence and resilience, something we know is a challenge in today’s world.
