On Thursday 14 August 2025, representatives of Girls’ Brigade England & Wales attended a garden party at 10 Downing Street, at the invitation of Sir Keir Starmer, The British Prime Minister. The event had been arranged to recognise the 80th Anniversary of victory in Japan, at the end of the second world war.

Rebecca was invited by The Prime Minster (Sir Keir Starmer), as a representative of The Methodist Church in Britain and Girls Brigade England & Wales to attend a reception to celebrate Easter. The Prime Minister delivered an Easter address to the assembled Christian Charity Leaders and MPs.
