New Network Chair needed

news

Nominations are now being sought for the position of The Girls’ Brigade England & Wales (GBEW) Network Chair.

The current Chair Hazel Hepworth, pictured, has decided not to stand for a second term of office, so we are seeking to appoint a new Chair from July 2021.

The GBEW Network Chair role is open to any suitably skilled person who is a member of the GBEW Network, but nominations may only be made by the GBEW Network Council members. The person elected will be in post for a three-year period from July 2021 with the option to stand for a further three years in 2024.

The closing date for nominations is Friday 18 June 2021. The GBEW Network Executive will undertake a selection process and elect to the role, this will be ratified at the GBEW Council meeting in July, with those elected taking up office immediately after.

If you’d like further information regarding the roles or process please contact Julie Murdy, GBM Director. An information pack and nomination forms can be found below.

This is a key position in support of the work of Girls’ Brigade, please prayerfully consider who God may be calling forward to this role and ensure that nominations are submitted by the closing date.
