New Network Chair needed

news

Nominations are now being sought for the position of The Girls’ Brigade England & Wales (GBEW) Network Chair.

The GBEW Network Chair is a key role in overseeing the work of GB’s local uniformed community groups and is open to any suitably skilled person from within or outside the GBEW Network, but nominations may only be made by the GBEW Network Council members. The person elected will be in position for a period from November 2021 to March 2024, with the option to stand for a further three years in 2024.

The closing date for nominations is Friday, 24 September 2021. The GBEW Network Executive will undertake a selection process and elect to the role, this will be ratified at the GBEW Council meeting in November, with those elected taking up office immediately after.

If you’d like further information regarding the role or process please contact Julie Murdy, GBM Director. An information pack and nomination forms can be found below.

This is a key position in support of the work of Girls’ Brigade and we’d be happy to accept nominations for a job-share.  Please prayerfully consider whether God is calling you, or someone known to you to this role and ensure that nominations are submitted by the closing date.
