Beyond the CV
DofE participants and Award holders aged 16 – 19 are invited to attend a Beyond the CV event in London. The unique event has been designed to support these young people as they transition between education and employment.
Do your young people know the skills they’ll need to move from education into work? Daunting yes, but also hugely exciting – new people, new experiences and new routines to master. For a motivated generation looking for opportunities to develop their skills, broaden horizons and make a difference to the world around them, this #BeyondTheCV event is here to help them take the next step.
The event takes place on Friday 8 November at the Google Offices in London. Attendance at the event is free of charge. Lunch and refreshments on arrival will be provided, as well as all materials required for full participation in the event. Attendees will need to cover their own travel to and from the event.

DofE Resilience Fund
As part of their "Youth Without Limits" strategy, The Duke of Edinburgh award scheme have re-launched their Resilience Fund. The benefits of the DofE scheme are well known and this funding means that finances don't need to be a barrier for marginalised young people who want to participate. If you think you may have some young people who could benefit from this, please contact our Project and Events Administrator Jayne Jones to begin your application process.
