Some GB leaders from Sutton District had a day out together to go to see the Superbloom at the Tower of London where the moat had been filled with wildflowers for the Jubilee. It was great for the leaders to meet up and to spend time with each other. As with all good GB leaders, their time together started with lunch before walking along the South Bank to the Tower. Just after the entrance to the moat was a slide that all the leaders found their inner child and had to try – there were more adults queuing for the slide than children!
District Team Leader Janice Ogilvie said “It was a lovely time looking at the wildflowers and catching up without having to count heads!”
