The scheme encourages people to give up their bed for the night and find somewhere not so luxurious to sleep instead, all to raise awareness and funds for children who face every night without a safe place to sleep.
On Friday 6 October, 1st Gawsworth took part in the event, with leaders and girls staying over at the church and sleeping in tents inside the hall and some young people taking part from home by sleeping crumpled up in armchairs and even in the dog bed! They had lots of fun, and games, raising a fantastic total of £320 for the charity.
