This new group, the Beautiful Gate Girls’ Brigade was launched on Sunday, 1 May, 2022. Leaders were presented with training certificates, badges and were prayed for by the District Minister for Graceland, Rev Caleb Amegatcher. The group was opened on Wednesday, 4 May and welcomed 17 children (girls and boys).
Team Leader Favour Boakye-Gyabaah says ‘We are really excited to walk along with Jesus on this journey to make an impact in the Yardley community and beyond and looking forward to welcoming more children into our group.’
Rev Caleb says, ‘I’m super excited that the Girls’ Brigade has come to the Church of Pentecost-UK, the Beautiful Gate. It has been our desire to start a project that extends our hands to the community and this is a perfect fit. We are trusting God that through the GB initiative, Yardley and its neighbouring communities will be impacted and transformed.’
