1st Sunderland raised an incredible £800 for St Benedict’s, a local hospice who deliver palliative care, advice, and support to patients dealing with a life-limiting illness and their families.
The group decided to hold an afternoon of entertainment for church members, GB members and others from the local community at Fullwell Methodist Church where the GB group meet. The event included a cream tea and a concert from Rock Choir North East.
This event is a great way for GB to get involved in the church and wider community while raising money for a great cause at the same time.
